1. Objectives
  1. Identify and name the striated muscles that make up the posterior, lateral, and inferior walls of the pelvis
  2. Identify the muscles of the pelvic diaphragm
  3. Describe pathology associated with weakness of the pelvic floor muscles
  4. Identify the components of the bladder
  5. Describe the course of the ureters in the pelvis to the bladder and potential sites of injury during gynecologic surgery
